Overview
StreamPulse is a modern, open-source Electron desktop application and Chrome Manifest V3 extension designed to make downloading high-fidelity media from YouTube, YouTube Music, and web sources effortless and lightning-fast.
StreamPulse Desktop Main Interface — YouTube & Music Grabber
Problem
Traditional web-based downloader services are filled with intrusive ads, slow conversion queues, and usually compress audio down to subpar 128kbps quality. Furthermore, there is no seamless bridge to instantly identify music playing in browser tabs and queue it directly for high-resolution desktop downloads.
Solution
StreamPulse establishes an instant local bridge between the browser and desktop engine. With an integrated AI acoustic fingerprinting extension, it identifies background songs across TikTok, Instagram Reels, Twitter/X, and browser tabs, dispatching downloads with full ID3 metadata and album covers at up to 320kbps MP3 or lossless FLAC.
